About Kindred

Kindred Hair was born from a lifelong love of hairdressing and a belief that every person 
deserves to feel confident, cared for, and truly seen. 

Growing up in the country town of Scone, NSW , hairdressing was woven into my family’s story. 
Working alongside my mother, sister, and brother in our family salon taught me the importance of connection, creativity, hard work, and community. It was there that I discovered that hairdressing is about so much more than hair - it’s about the way people feel when they leave the chair.

That belief guided me throughout my career, from owning and operating my own salon for 18 wonderful years to later working in an award winning salon in Newcastle alongside an incredibly talented team of stylists. Their creativity professionalism, and passion for the craft inspired me everyday and helped me shape the stylist I am today.

Throughout my journey, I have developed a special love for curly hair. There is something incredibly rewarding about helping clients embrace their natural texture and feel confident in hair that truly reflects who they are.

Today, Kindred Hair brings together everything I value most - a calm and welcoming space where beauty, wellbeing, and genuine connection come together. Creating a healthier salon environment is important to me , which is why Kindred Hair is built around an ammonia free approach and carefully selected organic products that are kinder to both clients and stylists, without compromising on beautiful results.

The name Kindred reflects what matters most to me: connection, trust, and a sense of belonging. My hope is that every person who walks through our doors feels welcomed, valued, and cared for.
